The most common misconception about the annual list of the world’s wealthiest people is that its all about the money.
This year, however, it’s more about the things that matter.
The Forbes billionaires list is designed to help people who don’t necessarily have wealth but who have it make sense.
Here’s what it will be looking for.
“I know I don’t have a lot of money but that’s ok.
I’m not going to stop living and growing,” said Steve Jobs, one of the 50 richest men in the world.
“People need to understand that I’m one of those guys that is very self-sufficient.
I do have to rely on my friends for my financial support.”
In an effort to encourage people to think more deeply about their financial situations, Forbes has included a series of questions on a new form of quiz that it calls the Forbes 50-question financial quiz.
“The questions will have to do with things like the kind of job you have, how much you earn, where you live, what type of car you drive, what kind of income you earn from your job, where your kids are from, and whether you’ve been to college,” the company said in a statement.
“Forbes will give you a list of questions that you can answer with a minimum of five answers, and then it will compare you to the world, so that people who aren’t billionaires can see how other people are doing financially.”
There are other ways the Forbes list can help.
“When you look at it, it is actually very clear that the biggest thing we’re talking about is wealth,” Forbes’ Chief Financial Officer, Michael Pachter, said.
“But the real question is, what are the things we value most?
And the answer to that is, the things you care about the most.”
The question asked, “Which of these things do you value most?” is a direct shot at the idea that wealth is a “key” that you’re not going anywhere.
“It’s an indicator of how well you’ve done financially, how good your life is, and what you’ve achieved and what the most important thing you’re doing right now,” Pachters said.
This quiz asks you to rank all the things on the list in order of importance.
There are five questions, each one asking a different question: What’s your income, what’s your net worth?
What’s the kind, type, and type of job?
Which of the following things are important to you?
What is your networth?
How much do you make?
What does your current financial situation mean for the rest of your life?
What are your best investments?
What kinds of assets do you have?
What kind of cars do you drive?
What do you want your children to do?
How would you like your life to change over the next five years?
The questions range from things like “Do you have a net worth?” to “How much do your kids benefit from their education?”
The list is an attempt to get a clearer idea of how people are spending their money.
It’s designed to highlight “how people are actually spending their dollars,” Panchter said.
It also helps the Forbes billionaires to try to identify what people are buying that’s not necessarily in the top 10.
For example, a new car could be a nice car for a few years, but if it’s in the middle of a recession and prices are going up, it could become a luxury car or, as the Forbes magazine puts it, “an absolute bargain.”
