The U.S. and Canada are expected to get access to JPMorgan’s stock market platform this week, joining a number of other countries where it is available.
The company says the move will allow more people to access its financial services apps.
The JPMorgan app for iPhones and Android phones is free, but there are no plans to bring the free version to the Apple App Store.
JPMorgan said in a blog post that it plans to provide free access to the apps for some time, with a goal to launch the feature in the U.K. and France within a month.
The Wall St. Journal reported that the U, U.k., and Canada will get access as soon as March 31, the day after the launch of the Apple iPhone 5S.
In addition, JPMorgan will offer a free trial version of its stock broker service to its U.N. customers.
